BERWICK DEVOIL Independent Insurance Brokerage announces the launch of a new business under its brand. BDFSO will offer bespoke financial advice to both Employer and their Employees.
BDFSO (Berwick Devoil Financial Solutions & Outsourcing) will operate out of Berwick Devoil’s flagship office in Royal Tunbridge Wells as well as London, Barbados and a Leeds office are scheduled to open later in the summer.
The board of directors each brings a unique, specialist and vibrant skill set to this new venture.
Chief Executive Officer; Alex Morris has 20+ years of extensive experience and knowledge as an independent financial, investment and pension advisor who has served clients spanning the UK and overseas.
Guy Jones; director at Berwick Devoil’s specialist Health & Wellbeing companies (BDHL & BDGM) brings to BDFSO a wealth of specialist knowledge including 30 years of UK, International & Channel Island health insurance & group risk solutions. Jones is also on the executive committee of AMII (Association of Medical Insurers & Intermediaries).
Group Operations Director; Caroline Weiss-Jones joined the Berwick Devoil board in 2012 as an equal shareholder. Since then she has energized the BD brand seizing new opportunities of expansion, Weiss-Jones recognizing the organic growth of the business launched BD Global Medical (BDGM) in 2015. She claims that “Berwick Devoil’s successes are a consequence of the fantastic clients that we serve and the amazing, talented and loyal staff we employ, BDFSO is a natural step to expanding our services making use of our close working relationships in the UK and overseas whilst maintaining the culture and ethos of the brand we are so proud to have built.”
Julia Hope; solicitor, has practiced law (international structuring, corporate, commercial & financial services) in London, England and Bermuda relocating to Barbados in 2008. She is the face of BDfSO’s Barbados office and is passionate about international business. Julia is also President of BIBA (Barbados International Business Association).
